Director of Learning

Rock UK is a Christian charity that provides exciting outdoor adventure UK and worldwide at it’s adventure centres and through Rock UK Trailblazers, it’s new venture into charity challenges and expeditions. We are passionate about developing young people, bringing adventure into learning and using the outdoors to transform lives.

We are currently looking to recruit a Director of Learning to offer their services 1 to 2 days per week to work closely with the Rock UK CEO in developing our education and learning policies and approach to schools linked with us. This position will ideally be filled by a committed Christian with recent education experience such as a retired Head or Senior Teacher.

Although this post is unpaid, expenses will be fully reimbursed. Applications are invited from anywhere in UK as the successful applicant can be based at home.

Fundraising Manager – Head Office Frontier CEntre

How good do you think you are? We need someone who’s best-in-class as we look to take our fundraising to the next level.

Rock UK has an exciting growth strategy in the UK youth adventure sector – underpinned by signficiant fundraising requirements. We are looking for an individual with demonstrable third-sector fundraising experience across a wide range of sources to unlock this growth.

The successful candidate will be highly personable with the ability and presence to develop effective, long-term plans and relationships. You will be a self-starter who is motivated by challenging targets and can helicopter as comfortably between strategy as detailed research. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will have the confidence and ability to develop our fundraising strategy and deliver impressive results in a dynamic and exciting organisation.

Cook at Frontier Centre

The catering team at Frontier Centre are looking for a qualified cook to work with the other members of the catering team to ensure the
production of high quality meals for centre guests and staff.

You should have experience of working within a catering function, cooking for large groups and working within a team.
